Возьмите пример с меня, как я беру с Христа.

Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ.

Хорошо, что вы всегда меня помните и держитесь того, что я вам передал.

Now I praise you, brethren, that you remember me in all things and keep the traditions just as I delivered them to you.

Знайте, что Христос — глава любому мужчине, а мужчина — глава женщине, Христу же глава — Бог.

But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.

Мужчина, который молится или пророчествует с покрытой головой, позорит себя.

Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonors his head.

И женщина, которая молится или пророчествует с непокрытой головой, позорит себя, как если бы она обрилась наголо.

But every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head, for that is one and the same as if her head were shaved.

Если она не покрывает голову, то пусть и волосы сострижет; если же стричь или брить голову — позор для женщины, пусть покрьюает голову.

For if a woman is not covered, let her also be shorn. But if it is shameful for a woman to be shorn or shaved, let her be covered.

Мужчина же не должен покрывать голову, ибо он образ и отблеск Бога, а женщина — отблеск мужчины.

For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man.

Ибо не мужчина происходит от женщины, а женщина от мужчины.

For man is not from woman, but woman from man.

Ведь не мужчина создан для женщины, но она для него.

Nor was man created for the woman, but woman for the man.

Поэтому женщине следует носить на голове знак власти — из-за ангелов.

For this reason the woman ought to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels.

Впрочем, в Господе женщина без мужчины ничто и мужчина без женщины ничто,

Nevertheless, neither is man independent of woman, nor woman independent of man, in the Lord.

ибо как она от него, так и он через нее, и всё — от Бога.

For as woman came from man, even so man also comes through woman; but all things are from God.

Рассудите сами: подобает ли женщине молиться Богу с непокрытой головой?

Judge among yourselves. Is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered?

Разве сама природа не учит вас, что длинные волосы для мужчины бесчестье,

Does not even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him?

а для женщины — слава, ибо они ей даны как одежда?

But if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her; for her hair is given [a]to her for a covering.

Если кто не согласится, добавлю, что такого обычая нет ни у нас, ни в Божьих общинах.

But if anyone seems to be contentious, we have no such custom, nor do the churches of God.

Не могу не упрекнуть вас за то, что от ваших собраний больше вреда, чем пользы.

Now in giving these instructions I do not praise you, since you come together not for the better but for the worse.

Во-первых, слышал я, что на собраниях у вас бывают раздоры, и в это я отчасти верю.

For first of all, when you come together as a church, I hear that there are divisions among you, and in part I believe it.

Конечно, нужны и расхождения, чтобы выявились среди вас надежные.

For there must also be factions among you, that those who are approved may be [b]recognized among you.

Однако ваши собрания — это не Господня трапеза,

Therefore when you come together in one place, it is not to eat the Lord’s Supper.

потому что каждый спешит съесть то, что принес сам, — и вот, один голоден, а другой уже пьян.

For in eating, each one takes his own supper ahead of others; and one is hungry and another is drunk.

Разве вы не можете наедаться и напиваться дома? Или вы презираете Божью общину, хотите унизить неимущих? Что я должен сказать? Похвалить вас? За это — не похвалю.

What! Do you not have houses to eat and drink in? Or do you despise the church of God and shame [c]those who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you in this? I do not praise you.

Ибо я узнал от Господа и передал вам, что Господин наш Иисус той ночью , в которую был выдан, взял хлеб

For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread;

и, совершив благодарение , разломил его и сказал: «Это Мое тело — за вас. Делайте так в воспоминание обо Мне».

and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, [d]“Take, eat; this is My body which is [e]broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”

Взял он и чашу после трапезы и сказал: «Эта чаша есть Новый Договор , скрепляемый Моей кровью. Делайте так всякий раз, когда будете пить, в воспоминание обо Мне».

In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.”

И каждый раз, когда едите этот хлеб и пьете из этой чаши, вы возвещаете о смерти Господина нашего, пока он не придет.

For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes.

Всякий, кто ест этот хлеб и пьет из чаши Господа недостойно, тот виновен перед телом и кровью Господина нашего.

Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and [f]blood of the Lord.

Пусть каждый проверяет себя и лишь потом ест этот хлеб и пьет из этой чаши,

But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup.

ибо кто ест и пьет , не различая тело , тот ест и пьет свой приговор.

For he who eats and drinks [g]in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the [h]Lord’s body.

Вот почему среди вас столько немощных и больных, а многие умерли.

For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many [i]sleep.

Если бы мы в себе разбирались сами, то не были бы и судимы.

For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged.

Господь же судит нас для исправления, чтобы не быть нам осужденными вместе с миром.

But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.

Поэтому, братья, если вы собираетесь для трапезы, ждите друг друга.

Therefore, my brethren, when you come together to eat, wait for one another.

Кто голоден, пусть поест дома, чтобы ваше собрание не было вам в осужденье. Об остальном распоряжусь, когда приду.

But if anyone is hungry, let him eat at home, lest you come together for judgment. And the rest I will set in order when I come.
