Когда они, приближаясь к Иерусалиму, дошли до селения Виффагия, что расположено на Масличной горе, Иисус послал вперед двух учеников,

When they had approached Jerusalem and had come to Bethphage, at the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples,

сказав им: — Идите в деревню, которая перед вами, там вы сразу же найдете привязанную ослицу и рядом с ней осленка. Отвяжите их и приведите ко Мне.

saying to them, “Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied there and a colt with her; untie them and bring them to Me.

Если кто-то вас спросит, зачем вы это делаете, то отвечайте, что они нужны Господу, и вам тут же дадут их.

“If anyone says anything to you, you shall say, ‘The Lord has need of them,’ and immediately he will send them.”

Это произошло для того, чтобы исполнилось сказанное через пророка:

This took place to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet:

"Скажите дочери Сиона: вот Царь твой идет к тебе, кроткий, верхом на ослице и осленке, сыне вьючного животного!"

“SAY TO THE DAUGHTER OF ZION, ‘BEHOLD YOUR KING IS COMING TO YOU, GENTLE, AND MOUNTED ON A DONKEY, EVEN ON A COLT, THE FOAL OF A BEAST OF BURDEN.’”

Ученики пошли и сделали все так, как Иисус велел им.

The disciples went and did just as Jesus had instructed them,

Они привели ослицу и осленка, положили на них свою одежду, и Иисус сел поверх нее.

and brought the donkey and the colt, and laid their coats on them; and He sat on the coats.

Собралось очень много людей, они расстилали свою одежду на дороге, срезали ветви с деревьев и тоже постилали на дороге.

Most of the crowd spread their coats in the road, and others were cutting branches from the trees and spreading them in the road.

Народ, что шел впереди, и те, что шли следом, громко кричали: — "Осанна Сыну Давида! Благословен тот, кто приходит во имя Господа! Осанна в небесах!"

The crowds going ahead of Him, and those who followed, were shouting, “Hosanna to the Son of David; BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD; Hosanna in the highest!”

И когда Иисус вошел в Иерусалим, весь город пришел в волнение, и все спрашивали: — Кто это? —

When He had entered Jerusalem, all the city was stirred, saying, “Who is this?”

А из толпы отвечали: — Это пророк Иисус из Назарета в Галилее!

And the crowds were saying, “This is the prophet Jesus, from Nazareth in Galilee.”

Иисус вошел в храм и выгнал оттуда всех торговцев и покупателей. Он перевернул столы менял и прилавки торговцев голубями.

And Jesus entered the temple and drove out all those who were buying and selling in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who were selling doves.

— Написано, — сказал Он, — "Дом Мой будет называться домом молитвы", а вы превратили его в разбойничье логово.

And He said to them, “It is written, ‘MY HOUSE SHALL BE CALLED A HOUSE OF PRAYER’; but you are making it a ROBBERS’ DEN.”

В храме к Нему подошли слепые и хромые, и Он исцелил их.

And the blind and the lame came to Him in the temple, and He healed them.

Первосвященники и учителя закона, увидев чудеса, которые совершал Иисус, и услышав, как дети кричат в храме: "Осанна Сыну Давида", — сильно рассердились.

But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that He had done, and the children who were shouting in the temple, “Hosanna to the Son of David,” they became indignant

— Ты слышишь, что кричат эти дети? — спросили они Его. — Да, — ответил Иисус, — разве вы не читали, что написано: "Из уст младенцев и грудных детей Ты вызовешь хвалу себе"?

and said to Him, “Do You hear what these children are saying?” And Jesus said to them, “Yes; have you never read, ‘OUT OF THE MOUTH OF INFANTS AND NURSING BABIES YOU HAVE PREPARED PRAISE FOR YOURSELF’?”

Он оставил их и пошел из города в Вифанию, где и заночевал.

And He left them and went out of the city to Bethany, and spent the night there.

Возвращаясь рано утром в город, Иисус почувствовал сильный голод.

Now in the morning, when He was returning to the city, He became hungry.

Увидев у дороги инжирное дерево, Он подошел к нему, но не нашел на нем ничего, кроме листьев. Тогда Иисус сказал дереву: — Пусть же от тебя никогда больше не будет плодов! Инжир сразу же засох.

Seeing a lone fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it except leaves only; and He said to it, “No longer shall there ever be any fruit from you.” And at once the fig tree withered.

Когда ученики это увидели, то удивились: — Как это инжир мог так быстро засохнуть?

Seeing this, the disciples were amazed and asked, “How did the fig tree wither all at once?”

Иисус ответил: — Говорю вам истину: если вы будете верить, не сомневаясь, то сможете сделать не только то, что было сделано с инжиром, но даже если вы скажете этой горе: "Поднимись и бросься в море", так и случится.

And Jesus answered and said to them, “Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it will happen.

Если вы верите, то все, о чем бы вы ни попросили в молитве, получите.

“And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”

Когда Иисус вошел в храм и стал учить народ, к Нему подошли первосвященники и старейшины народа с вопросом: — Какой властью Ты все это делаешь и кто дал Тебе эту власть?

When He entered the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to Him while He was teaching, and said, “By what authority are You doing these things, and who gave You this authority?”

Иисус ответил им: — Я тоже задам вам вопрос, и если вы Мне ответите, то и Я скажу вам, какой властью Я это делаю.

Jesus said to them, “I will also ask you one thing, which if you tell Me, I will also tell you by what authority I do these things.

От кого Иоанн получил свое право крестить, от Бога или от людей? Они стали рассуждать между собой: — Если мы скажем: "От Бога", то Он спросит: "Так почему же вы ему не поверили?"

“The baptism of John was from what source, from heaven or from men?” And they began reasoning among themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ He will say to us, ‘Then why did you not believe him?’

Сказать "От людей" нельзя, ведь все считают, что Иоанн был пророком.

“But if we say, ‘From men,’ we fear the people; for they all regard John as a prophet.”

— Мы не знаем, — ответили они. — И Я вам тоже не скажу, какой властью Я это делаю, — сказал тогда Иисус.

And answering Jesus, they said, “We do not know.” He also said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.

— Что вы скажете на такое: у одного человека было два сына. Как-то он подошел к одному из них и говорит: "Сын, пойди, поработай сегодня в винограднике".

“But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first and said, ‘Son, go work today in the vineyard.’

"Не хочу", — ответил сын, но потом передумал и все же пошел.

“And he answered, ‘I will not’; but afterward he regretted it and went.

Подойдя и к другому сыну, отец попросил его о том же. Сын ответил: "Иду, господин", — а сам не пошел.

“The man came to the second and said the same thing; and he answered, ‘I will, sir’; but he did not go.

Кто из них исполнил волю отца? — Первый, — ответили они. Тогда Иисус сказал им: — Говорю вам истину: сборщики податей и проститутки впереди вас идут в Царство Бога.

“Which of the two did the will of his father?” They said, “The first.” Jesus said to them, “Truly I say to you that the tax collectors and prostitutes will get into the kingdom of God before you.

Ведь Иоанн пришел к вам показать путь праведности, и вы не поверили ему, а они поверили. А вы даже после того, как это увидели, не раскаялись и не поверили.

“For John came to you in the way of righteousness and you did not believe him; but the tax collectors and prostitutes did believe him; and you, seeing this, did not even feel remorse afterward so as to believe him.

— Послушайте еще одну притчу: один землевладелец посадил виноградник. Он огородил его стеной, выкопал яму для давильного пресса и построил сторожевую башню. Затем он отдал виноградник в аренду, а сам отправился в далекое путешествие.

“Listen to another parable. There was a landowner who PLANTED A VINEYARD AND PUT A WALL AROUND IT AND DUG A WINE PRESS IN IT, AND BUILT A TOWER, and rented it out to vine-growers and went on a journey.

Когда пришло время сбора винограда, он послал своих слуг к виноградарям за причитающейся ему долей.

“When the harvest time approached, he sent his slaves to the vine-growers to receive his produce.

Те же схватили слуг и кого избили, кого убили, а кого закидали камнями.

“The vine-growers took his slaves and beat one, and killed another, and stoned a third.

Тогда хозяин послал других слуг, их было больше, чем в первый раз, но виноградари и с теми поступили так же.

“Again he sent another group of slaves larger than the first; and they did the same thing to them.

В конце концов он послал своего сына. "Уж к сыну-то моему они проявят уважение", — думал он.

“But afterward he sent his son to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’

Но когда виноградари увидели сына, они решили: "Это наследник. Давайте убьем его, и наследство будет нашим".

“But when the vine-growers saw the son, they said among themselves, ‘This is the heir; come, let us kill him and seize his inheritance.’

Они схватили его, вышвырнули из виноградника и убили.

“They took him, and threw him out of the vineyard and killed him.

Итак, когда придет хозяин виноградника, что он сделает с этими виноградарями?

“Therefore when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those vine-growers?”

— Он жестоко казнит злодеев, — ответили они, — и сдаст виноградник другим виноградарям, которые отдадут ему его долю урожая в условленный срок.

They said to Him, “He will bring those wretches to a wretched end, and will rent out the vineyard to other vine-growers who will pay him the proceeds at the proper seasons.”

Иисус сказал им: — Разве вы не читали в Писаниях: "Камень, который отвергли строители, стал краеугольным. Это совершил Господь, и как это изумительно для нас!"?

Jesus said to them, “Did you never read in the Scriptures, ‘THE STONE WHICH THE BUILDERS REJECTED, THIS BECAME THE CHIEF CORNER stone; THIS CAME ABOUT FROM THE LORD, AND IT IS MARVELOUS IN OUR EYES’?

Поэтому Я и говорю вам, что Божье Царство будет отнято у вас и отдано народу, который приносит плод.

“Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people, producing the fruit of it.

Кто упадет на этот камень, тот разобьется, а на кого камень упадет, того он раздавит.

“And he who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; but on whomever it falls, it will scatter him like dust.”

Выслушав притчи Иисуса, первосвященники и фарисеи поняли, что Он говорит о них.

When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard His parables, they understood that He was speaking about them.

Они хотели арестовать Иисуса, но боялись народа, потому что люди считали Иисуса пророком.

When they sought to seize Him, they feared the people, because they considered Him to be a prophet.
