For the law, having a shadow of the good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with these same sacrifices, which they offer continually year by year, make those who approach perfect.

Ибо Закон, имея тень будущих благ, не самый образ вещей, никогда не может одними и теми же жертвами, которые из года в год постоянно приносятся, сделать приступающих совершенными.

For then would they not have ceased to be offered? For the worshipers, once [a]purified, would have had no more consciousness of sins.

Иначе, разве не перестали бы их приносить, потому что совершающие это служение, будучи раз навсегда очищены, не имели бы уже никакого сознания грехов?

But in those sacrifices there is a reminder of sins every year.

Но этими жертвами напоминается о грехах из года в год.

For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins.

Ибо невозможно, чтобы кровь быков и тельцов уничтожала грехи.

Therefore, when He came into the world, He said: “Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, But a body You have prepared for Me.

Поэтому Христос, входя в мир, говорит: Жертвы и приношения Ты не восхотел, но тело уготовил Мне;

In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You had no pleasure.

всесожжения и жертвы за грех не были Тебе благоугодны.

Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come — In the volume of the book it is written of Me — To do Your will, O God.’ ”

Тогда Я сказал: вот, Я пришел, — в книжном списке написано о Мне — чтобы исполнить. Боже, волю Твою.

Previously saying, “Sacrifice and offering, burnt offerings, and offerings for sin You did not desire, nor had pleasure in them” (which are offered according to the law),

Говоря сперва: жертв и приношений и всесожжений и жертвы за грех Ты не восхотел и Тебе они не были благоугодны, (те, что по Закону приносятся), —

then He said, “Behold, I have come to do Your will, [b]O God.” He takes away the first that He may establish the second.

Он затем прибавил: вот, Я пришел, чтобы исполнить волю Твою. Он отменяет первое, чтобы установить второе.

By that will we have been [c]sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

По этой-то воле мы освящены принесением тела Иисуса Христа раз навсегда.

And every priest stands ministering daily and offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.

И, тогда как каждый священник изо дня в день стоит, служа и принося много раз одни и те же жертвы, которые никогда не могут истребить грехов, —

But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God,

Он, принеся одну жертву за грехи, навсегда воссел по правую сторону Бога,

from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool.

ожидая затем, пока не будут положены враги Его в подножие ног Его.

For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being [d]sanctified.

Ибо Он одним приношением сделал навсегда совершенными освящаемых.

But the Holy Spirit also witnesses to us; for after He had said before,

Свидетельствует же нам и Дух Святой; ибо после того, как Он сказал:

“This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,”

Это завет, который Я заключу с ними, после дней тех, говорит Господь; вложу законы Мои в сердца их, и в мыслях их напишу их, (Он говорит:)

then He adds, “Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”

и грехов их и беззаконий их не вспомню более.

Now where there is [e]remission of these, there is no longer an offering for sin.

А там, где отпущение грехов, нет уже и приношения за грех.

Therefore, brethren, having boldness[f] to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus,

Итак, братья, имея дерзновение входить во святилище кровью Иисуса,

by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh,

путем новым и живым, который Он вновь открыл нам через завесу, то есть плоть Свою,

and having a High Priest over the house of God,

и имея Священника великого над домом Божиим, —

let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

будем приступать с искренним сердцем в полноте веры, кроплением очистив сердца от лукавой совести и омыв тело водою чистой.

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

Будем держаться исповедания надежды неуклонно, ибо верен Обещавший;

And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works,

и будем внимательны друг ко другу, поощряя к любви и добрым делам,

not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

не оставляя собрания своего, как есть у некоторых обычай, но призывая к бодрости, и тем более, чем ближе вы видите День.

For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,

Ибо если, получив познание истины, мы произвольно грешим, — то не остается уже жертвы за грех,

but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.

но некое страшное ожидание суда и ярость огня, готового пожрать противников.

Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.

Человек, отвергший Закон Моисеев, без милосердия подвергается смерти на основании показаний двух или трех свидетелей;

Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?

насколько худшего наказания, думаете вы, будет достоин тот, кто попрал Сына Божия и кровь завета, которою был освящен, не почтив её как святыню и оскорбив Духа Святого,

For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” [g]says the Lord. And again, “The Lord will judge His people.”

Ибо мы знаем Того, Кто сказал: Мне отмщение, Я воздам; и еще: будет судить Господь народ Свой.

It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Страшно впасть в руки Бога Живого!

But recall the former days in which, after you were [h]illuminated, you endured a great struggle with sufferings:

Вспоминайте прежние дни, когда вы, будучи просвещены, претерпели великий подвиг страдания,

partly while you were made a spectacle both by reproaches and tribulations, and partly while you became companions of those who were so treated;

то выставляемые напоказ в поношениях и притеснениях, то приняв участие в тех, кто находились в таком же состоянии:

for you had compassion on [i]me in my chains, and joyfully accepted the plundering of your [j]goods, knowing that you have a better and an enduring possession for yourselves [k]in heaven.

ибо вы и узникам сострадали и расхищение вашего имения приняли с радостью, зная, что есть у вас имущество лучшее и пребывающее.

Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward.

Не оставляйте же дерзновения вашего, которому принадлежит великое воздаяние.

For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:

Ибо терпение вам нужно, чтобы, исполнив волю Божию, получить обещанное.

“For yet a little while, And He[l] who is coming will come and will not [m]tarry.

Ибо еще немного, очень немного, Грядущий придет и не замедлит.

Now the[n] just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.”

Но праведный Мой верою жив будет, и, если отступит, не благоволит душа Моя к нему.

But we are not of those who draw back to [o]perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.

Мы же не люди отступления к погибели, но люди веры к приобретению души.
