Дирижёру хора. Песня слуги Божьего Давида, когда Господь спас его от Саула и от всех остальных его врагов.
 
To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David the servant of the Lord, who spoke to the Lord the words of this song on the day that the Lord delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. And he said:

Господи, люблю Тебя, дарующего силы.
 
I will love You, O Lord, my strength.
3
Бог мой — моя Скала, в которой убежище я нахожу. Господь — мой щит, я обрету спасение Его силой. Он — крепость моя, моё убежище в горах.
 
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my [a]strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the [b]horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Я к Господу о помощи воззвал, и Он меня от моих врагов спасает. Господь достоин восхваления моего!
 
I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies.
5
Вокруг меня смерть расставляет путы, стремнина разрушительная мчит туда, откуда нет возврата.
 
The pangs of death surrounded me, And the floods of [c]ungodliness made me afraid.
6
Могилы проглотить меня хотят, смерть мне ставит западню.
 
The sorrows of Sheol surrounded me; The snares of death confronted me.
7
И в бедствии своём я к Господу о помощи воззвал. Из храма Своего Он голос мой услышал, мой крик о помощи услышал Он.
 
In my distress I called upon the Lord, And cried out to my God; He heard my voice from His temple, And my cry came before Him, even to His ears.
8
Земля тряслась, до основания дрожали горы, вот как разгневался Господь.
 
Then the earth shook and trembled; The foundations of the hills also quaked and were shaken, Because He was angry.
9
Дым поднимался из Его ноздрей, а изо рта рвалось всепожирающее пламя, и огненные искры разлетались.
 
Smoke went up from His nostrils, And devouring fire from His mouth; Coals were kindled by it.
10
И небо разорвав, Господь спустился, стоя на грозных чёрных тучах.
 
He bowed the heavens also, and came down With darkness under His feet.
11
Он Херувимов оседлал и полетел, паря на крыльях ветра.
 
And He rode upon a cherub, and flew; He flew upon the wings of the wind.
12
Он мраком покрыл Себя как шатром, и воды облаков собрал Он в грозовую тучу.
 
He made darkness His secret place; His canopy around Him was dark waters And thick clouds of the skies.
13
Его слепящее сияние пробилось сквозь тучи,
 
From the brightness before Him, His thick clouds passed with hailstones and coals of fire.
14
Раскатами грома Господь Всевышний отозвался с небес, и голос все услышали Его.
 
The Lord thundered from heaven, And the Most High uttered His voice, [d]Hailstones and coals of fire.
15
Он стрелы слал Свои — удары молний. Ими Он разбросал и разгромил врага.
 
He sent out His arrows and scattered [e]the foe, Lightnings in abundance, and He vanquished them.
16
От грозного голоса Господа, от мощного дыхания из Его ноздрей открылось взору морское дно, и обнажились основания земли.
 
Then the channels of the sea were seen, The foundations of the world were uncovered At Your rebuke, O Lord, At the blast of the breath of Your nostrils.
17
И руку протянув с высот, меня Он подхватил и из морей глубоких вынес.
 
He sent from above, He took me; He drew me out of many waters.
18
Господь спас меня от вражьих сил, с которыми мне не совладать.
 
He delivered me from my strong enemy, From those who hated me, For they were too strong for me.
19
В минуту бедствия враг на меня напал, но Господь был для меня опорой.
 
They confronted me in the day of my calamity, But the Lord was my support.
20
Он вывел меня в безопасное место, и спас меня, так как Он ко мне благоволит.
 
He also brought me out into a broad place; He delivered me because He delighted in me.
21
Господь помог мне, так как праведен я был, за чистоту мою награды удостоил.
 
The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness; According to the cleanness of my hands He has recompensed me.
22
Я не грешил против Бога никогда, шёл по Его указанной дороге.
 
For I have kept the ways of the Lord, And have not wickedly departed from my God.
23
Я следовал всегда законам Божьим, и от заповедей Его я никогда не отступал.
 
For all His judgments were before me, And I did not put away His statutes from me.
24
Невинен я пред Господом ни в чём, и сторонюсь греха.
 
I was also blameless [f]before Him, And I kept myself from my iniquity.
25
Он видел чистоту моих поступков, и поэтому наградил за праведность меня.
 
Therefore the Lord has recompensed me according to my righteousness, According to the cleanness of my hands in His sight.
26
Господи, Ты предан преданным Тебе, и с добротой поступаешь с добрым человеком.
 
With the merciful You will show Yourself merciful; With a blameless man You will show Yourself blameless;
27
Господи, живущих без греха Ты не обидишь, но можешь перехитрить самых наихитрейших подлецов.
 
With the pure You will show Yourself pure; And with the devious You will show Yourself shrewd.
28
Господи, Ты помогаешь покорным, но унижаешь Ты надменных гордецов.
 
For You will save the humble people, But will bring down haughty looks.
29
Ты, Господи, мне светишь в темноте, Ты тьму превращаешь в свет вокруг меня.
 
For You will light my lamp; The Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.
30
С помощью Твоей могу я победить любое войско. С Богом моим могу взойти на вражескую стену.
 
For by You I can [g]run against a troop, By my God I can leap over a wall.
31
Путь Бога безупречен, слово Господа надёжно и истинно. Он защищает каждого, кто верует в Него.
 
As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the Lord is [h]proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.
32
Нет Бога, кроме Господа. Нет Скалы, кроме Бога моего.
 
For who is God, except the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God?
33
Бог убирает преграды с моего пути, и силу в руки мне даёт большую.
 
It is God who arms me with strength, And makes my way perfect.
34
Ногам даёт Он быстроту оленя, а также даёт способность устоять на высоте.
 
He makes my feet like the feet of deer, And sets me on my high places.
35
Он к битве меня готовит и силу мне даёт, чтобы мог я стрелять из самого тугого лука.
 
He teaches my hands to make war, So that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.
36
Господи, Ты дал мне щит, чтобы защитить меня. Ты поддерживаешь меня рукою правой, с Твоею помощью я стал великим.
 
You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; Your right hand has held me up, Your gentleness has made me great.
37
Ты расчистил передо мной тропу, чтобы мне не споткнуться о преграду.
 
You enlarged my path under me, So my feet did not slip.
38
Врага преследовал я и пленил его. Не остановился я, пока его не сокрушил.
 
I have pursued my enemies and overtaken them; Neither did I turn back again till they were destroyed.
39
Враг побеждён, подняться он не в силах, поверженный, он у ног моих лежит.
 
I have wounded them, So that they could not rise; They have fallen under my feet.
40
Господи, Ты силы дал рукам для битвы, врагов заставил пасть к ногам моим.
 
For You have armed me with strength for the battle; You have [i]subdued under me those who rose up against me.
41
Ты обратил их в бегство, позволил победить ненавидевших меня.
 
You have also given me the necks of my enemies, So that I destroyed those who hated me.
42
Враги о помощи взывали, но некому было их спасти. Они молили Господа, но не ответил Он.
 
They cried out, but there was none to save; Even to the Lord, but He did not answer them.
43
Враги, поверженные мной, стали подобны пыльной туче, гонимой ветром прочь. Я их топтал и мял как уличную грязь.
 
Then I beat them as fine as the dust before the wind; I cast them out like dirt in the streets.
44
Ты спас меня от тех людей, которые против меня на битву вышли. Меня главою над народами поставил, и служат мне даже те, кого я раньше и не знал.
 
You have delivered me from the strivings of the people; You have made me the head of the [j]nations; A people I have not known shall serve me.
45
Чужестранцы беспомощно падают передо мной. И только услышав обо мне, они мне повинуются.
 
As soon as they hear of me they obey me; The foreigners [k]submit to me.
46
Они слабеют от страха и, дрожа, выходят из своих убежищ.
 
The foreigners fade away, And come frightened from their hideouts.
47
Жив Господь! Да будет благословенна моя Скала! Велик Господь — моя Скала, дарующая мне спасение!
 
The Lord lives! Blessed be my Rock! Let the God of my salvation be exalted.
48
Он — Бог, мстящий неприятелям моим; Бог, повергающий к моим ногам народы.
 
It is God who avenges me, And subdues the peoples under me;
49
Господь, Ты защитил меня, дал мне спасение от неприятеля, помог разбить врагов моих жестоких.
 
He delivers me from my enemies. You also lift me up above those who rise against me; You have delivered me from the violent man.
50
Господи, Тебя я буду восхвалять среди народов, Твоё я имя буду прославлять!
 
Therefore I will give thanks to You, O Lord, among the [l]Gentiles, And sing praises to Your name.
51
Господь помогает одержать победы тому царю, которого избрал. Являет Он великую любовь тому правителю, которого помазал: Давиду и его потомкам Он будет предан до конца времён!
 
Great deliverance He gives to His king, And shows mercy to His anointed, To David and his [m]descendants forevermore.
