“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

«Поверьте истинному слову: кто входит в овчарню не через ворота, а лезет через ограду, тот вор и разбойник.

But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.

А кто входит через ворота, тот своим овцам пастух.

To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.

Ему открывает сторож, и овцы идут на его голос. Он зовет своих овец по имени и выводит их.

And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.

Вот он вывел их и идет впереди, а его овцы — за ним: они верят его голосу.

Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.”

Они нипочем не пойдут за незнакомцем, побегут от него. Незнакомый голос для них чужой».

Jesus used this illustration, but they did not understand the things which He spoke to them.

Это было иносказание, но они не поняли, к чему подводил Иисус.

Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.

Тогда Он сказал прямо: «Поверьте истинному слову, ворота для овец — это Я.

All who ever came [a]before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them.

Кто приходил до Меня, все были воры и разбойники. Овцы не хотели их слушать.

I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.

Я — эти ворота. Кто войдет через Меня — спасется: и войдет, и выйдет, и будет ему пастбище.

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Вор приходит и крадет. От него только смерть и разорение. Я пришел дать жизнь — жизнь с избытком.

“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.

Я — хороший пастух. Хороший пастух жизнь кладет за овец.

But a [b]hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them.

А наемный работник овцам не пастух. Они ему не свои. Он, как завидит волка, бросает стадо и бежит, а волк рвет овец и разгоняет все стадо.

The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep.

Нанятому безразлично, что станет с овцами.

I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own.

Я — хороший пастух. Я знаю Моих овец и они знают Меня.

As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep.

Вот так же и Отец знает Меня, а Я знаю Отца. Я кладу за них Свою жизнь.

And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd.

Есть у Меня и другие овцы, не из этой овчарни. И их Мне водить, и им идти на Мой голос. Будет одно стадо, один пастух.

“Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again.

Отец любит Меня, и вот почему: Я отдаю Свою жизнь. Отдаю и снова беру.

No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.”

Никто не мог бы отнять ее у Меня — Я Сам ее отдаю. В Моей власти отдать ее и в Моей власти снова взять ее. Эту заповедь Я получил от Моего Отца».

Therefore there was a division again among the Jews because of these sayings.

Эти слова опять вызвали раскол в толпе.

And many of them said, “He has a demon and is [c]mad. Why do you listen to Him?”

Одни говорили: «В Нем бес. Он умом повредился. Что толку Его слушать?».

Others said, “These are not the words of one who has a demon. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?”

Другие сказали: «В ком бес — так не скажет. Да и зрение слепым дается не от беса».

Now it was the Feast of Dedication in Jerusalem, and it was winter.

Пришла зима. В Иерусалиме справляли праздник Обновления.

And Jesus walked in the temple, in Solomon’s porch.

Иисус прохаживался по Соломонову портику в Храме.

Then the Jews surrounded Him and said to Him, “How long do You keep us in [d]doubt? If You are the Christ, tell us plainly.”

Священники обступили Его и говорят: «Долго ли будешь казнить нам душу?! Если Ты — Христос, так и скажи».

Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in My Father’s name, they bear witness of Me.

Иисус отвечал: «Я уже говорил вам — вы не верите. За Меня говорят дела, которые Я совершаю от имени Моего Отца.

But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, [e]as I said to you.

Но вам не верится. Вы — не Мои овцы.

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

Мои овцы знают Мой голос, они идут за Мной. Я знаю их всех.

And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.

Я даю им вечную жизнь — и никогда не пропадут. Никто не похитит их из Моей руки.

My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.

Мой Отец дал Мне самое дорогое. Похищение из руки Отца немыслимо.

I and My Father are one.”

Я и Отец — одно».

Then the Jews took up stones again to stone Him.

Они опять стали хватать камни, хотели убить Его.

Jesus answered them, “Many good works I have shown you from My Father. For which of those works do you stone Me?”

Иисус говорит им: «Много добрых дел совершил Я по воле Моего Отца. Вы видели их. За которое из них вы собираетесь сейчас побить Меня камнями?».

The Jews answered Him, saying, “For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy, and because You, being a Man, make Yourself God.”

Они отвечали: «Мы не за доброе дело побиваем Тебя камнями, а за кощунство, за то, что Ты, человек, выдаешь Себя за Бога».

Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, “You are gods” ’?

Иисус говорит: «А разве не написано в вашем в Законе: “Я сказал: вы — боги”?

If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken),

Бог Сам назвал богами тех, кому адресовал Свое Слово, а Писанию нельзя не верить.

do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’?

Как же вы теперь говорите Тому, кого Отец освятил и послал в этот мир: “Ты кощунствуешь,” — пеняя на Мои слова: “Я — Божий Сын”?

If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me;

Если Я не совершаю дел Моего Отца, не верьте Мне.

but if I do, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, that you may know and [f]believe that the Father is in Me, and I in Him.”

А если совершаю, то, даже и не веря Мне, верьте Моим делам — и сами увидите, откроется вам, что Отец — во Мне и Я — в Отце».

Therefore they sought again to seize Him, but He escaped out of their hand.

Они опять хотели было схватить Его, но Он не дался им в руки.

And He went away again beyond the Jordan to the place where John was baptizing at first, and there He stayed.

Иисус опять перешел через Иордан на ту сторону, где когда-то крестил Иоанн. Там и остался.

Then many came to Him and said, “John performed no sign, but all the things that John spoke about this Man were true.”

Все, кто побывал там у Иисуса, говорили: «Пусть Иоанн не сделал никакого чуда, но все, что он говорил о Нем — правда».

And many believed in Him there.

Многие возвращались оттуда с верой в Иисуса.
