На пачатку было Слова, і Слова было з Богам, і Слова было Бог.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Яно было на пачатку з Богам.

The same was in the beginning with God.

Усе перазь Яго сталася, і безь Яго нічога ня было стаўшыся, што сталася.

All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

У Ім было жыцьцё, і жыцьцё было сьвятлінёю людзёў.

In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

І сьвятліня сьвеце ў цямноце, і цямнота яе не агарнула.

And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Быў чалавек пасланы ад Бога, імя ягонае Яан.

There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.

Ён прышоў дзеля сьветчаньня, каб сьветчыць празь Сьвятліню, каб усі ўверылі перазь яго.

The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.

Ён ня быў Сьвятліня, але каб сьветчыць празь Сьвятліню.

He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

Была праўдзівая Сьвятліня, што асьвячае кажнага чалавека, на сьвет прыходзячага.

That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

На сьвеце быў, і сьвет стаўся перазь Яго, і сьвет Яго не пазнаў.

He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

Да сваіх собскіх прышоў, і собскія Ягоныя не прынялі Яго.

He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

Але ўсім тым, што прынялі Яго, даў ім права стаць дзецьмі Божымі, тым, што вераць у імя Ягонае,

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Каторыя ня з крыві, ані з волі цела, ані з волі мужа, але з Бога нарадзіліся.

Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

І Слова стала целам, і вітала памеж нас (і мы бачылі славу Ягоную, славу як адзінароднага ад Айца), поўнае ласкі а праўды.

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Яан сьветча празь Яго і гукаў, кажучы: «Гэта быў тый, праз Каторага я сказаў: "Хто прыходзе за імною, выперадзіў мяне, бо быў перад імною"»;

John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.

Бо з паўніні Ягонае ўсі мы прынялі і ласку на ласку.

And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.

Бо Бог закон Масеям быў даўшы; ласка а праўда сталася перазь Ісуса Хрыста.

For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

Бога ніхто ніколі ня бачыў, адзінародны Сын, што ёсьць у ўлоньню Айцоўскім, Ён аб’явіў.

No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

І гэта сьветчаньне Яанава, як паслалі да Яго Юдэі зь Ерузаліму сьвятароў а Левітаў, каб маглі папытацца ў Яго: «Хто Ты?»

And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou?

І ён вызнаў, і не заперачыў, і вызнаў: «Я ня Хрыстос».

And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ.

І папыталіся ў Яго: «Дык што ж? ты Ільля?» і ён адказаў: «Не». «Прарока?» і ён адказаў «Не».

And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No.

Дык сказалі яму: «Хто ж ты, каб мы далі адказ тым, што паслалі нас; што ты скажаш празь сябе самога?»

Then said they unto him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself?

Ён сказаў: «Я голас гукаючага на пустыні: "Прастайце сьцежку Спадару", як сказаў Ісая прарока».

He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias.

Пасланыя ж былі з фарысэяў;

And they which were sent were of the Pharisees.

І яны папыталіся ў яго, і сказалі яму: «Чаму ты хрысьціш, калі ты ня Хрыстос, ані Ільля, ані прарока?»

And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet?

Яан адказаў ім, кажучы: «Я хрышчу ў вадзе; стаіць сярод вас, Каторага ня знаеце,

John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not;

Тый, што прыходзе за імною, у Каторага вобую я ня гожы разьвязаць рэменьчыка».

He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe's latchet I am not worthy to unloose.

Гэта сталася ў Віфані за Ёрданом, ідзе Яан хрысьціў.

These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing.

Назаўтрае бача ён ідучага да сябе Ісуса й кажа: «Во Ягнётка Божае, што бярэць грэх сьвету.

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

Ён ё, праз Каторага я сказаў: "За імною ідзець муж, Каторы выперадзіў мяне, бо Ён быў уперад за мяне.

This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me.

І я ня знаў Яго, але каб Ён быў выяўлены Ізраелю, дзеля таго я прышоў хрысьціць у вадзе"».

And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.

І сьветчыў Яан, кажучы: «Я бачыў Духа, што зыходзіў, як галуба, зь неба, ды перабываў на Ім.

And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.

І я ня знаў Яго; але Тый, што паслаў мяне хрысьціць у вадзе, Тый сказаў імне: «Над кім абачыш Духа, што зыходзе і застаецца на Ім, Тый ё, што хрысьце ў Духу Сьвятым»;

And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.

І я бачыў, і сьветчыў, што Гэты ё Сын Божы».

And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.

Назаўтрае ізноў стаяў Яан і двух вучанікаў ягоных.

Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples;

І, абачыўшы йдучага Ісуса, сказаў: «Гэта Ягнётка Божае».

And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!

І пачулі два вучанікі, як ён казаў, і пайшлі за Ісусам.

And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.

Ісус жа, абярнуўшыся і абачыўшы іх ідучых за Ім, кажа ім: «Чаго шукаеце?» А яны сказалі яму: «Раббі! (што знача ў перакладзе: Вучыцелю!) ідзе перабываеш?»

Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou?

Кажа ім: «Прыйдзіце й абачча». Дык яны пайшлі й абачылі, ідзе Ён перабывае, і прабылі ў Яго тый дзень. Было каля дзясятае гадзіны.

He saith unto them, Come and see. They came and saw where he dwelt, and abode with him that day: for it was about the tenth hour.

Андрэй, брат Сымона Пётры, быў адзін із двух, што чулі ад Яана і пайшлі за Ім.

One of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother.

Знаходзе ён першы брата свайго собскага Сымона і кажа яму: «Мы знайшлі Месію», што знача ў перакладзе: Хрыстос.

He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.

І прывёў яго да Ісуса. Ісус, гледзячы на яго, сказаў: «Ты Сымон, сын Ёнін; ты будзеш звацца Кіфа, што ў перакладзе: камень.

And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone.

Назаўтрае хацеў Ісус ісьці да Ґалілеі, і знаходзе Піліпа, і кажа яму: «Ідзі за Імною».

The day following Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip, and saith unto him, Follow me.

Піліп жа быў зь Віфсаіды, места Андрэявага а Пётравага.

Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.

Піліп знаходзе Нафанайлу й кажа яму: «Мы знайшлі Таго, праз Каторага Масей пісаў у законе а прарокі, Ісуса, сына Язэпавага з Назарэту».

Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.

А Нафанайла кажа яму: «Ці можа з Назарэту быць што добрае?» Піліп кажа яму: «Ідзі й глянь».

And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.

Ісус, абачыўшы йдучага да Яго Нафанайлу, кажа празь яго: «Вось, запраўды Ізраелянін, у каторым няма хітрыні».

Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!

Нафанайла кажа Яму: «Скуль Ты мяне знаеш?» Адказаў Ісус і сказаў яму: «Уперад чымся Піліп гукнуў цябе, як ты быў пад фіґаю, Я бачыў цябе».

Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.

Нафанайла адказаў Яму: «Раббі! Ты Сын Божы, Ты Кароль Ізраельскі».

Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.

Ісус адказаў і сказаў яму: «Затым што Я сказаў табе: "Я бачыў цябе пад фіґаю", — ты верыш? абачыш балей за гэта».

Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these.

І кажа яму: «Запраўды, запраўды кажу вам: адгэтуль абачыце неба адчыненае й ангілаў Божых узыходзячых і зыходзячых на Сына Людзкога».

And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.
