Истинно, истинно говорю вам: кто входит в овчарню не через дверь, а проникает туда иначе, тот — вор и разбойник.

“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter by the door into the fold of the sheep, but climbs up some other way, he is a thief and a robber.

Входящий через дверь — это пастух:

“But he who enters by the door is a shepherd of the sheep.

сторож при дверях ему отворяет, овцы слушают его голос, а он своих овец окликает по имени и выводит наружу.

“To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.

Выгнав овец, он идёт впереди, а овцы — за ним, потому что знают его голос.

“When he puts forth all his own, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice.

За чужим они не пойдут, но убегут от него, потому что чужого голоса они не признают.

“A stranger they simply will not follow, but will flee from him, because they do not know the voice of strangers.”

Так образами говорил с ними Иисус, но смысла этих слов они не поняли.

This figure of speech Jesus spoke to them, but they did not understand what those things were which He had been saying to them.

Тогда Иисус опять им сказал: — Истинно, истинно говорю вам: Я — дверь к овцам.

So Jesus said to them again, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.

Все, кто приходил до Меня, были воры и разбойники, но овцы их не слушали.

“All who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them.

Я — это дверь: кто через Меня войдет, тот спасется. Он войдет и выйдет и найдет пастбище.

“I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.

Вор приходит только украсть, убить и разрушить. Я пришел, чтобы у них была жизнь и жизнь полная.

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.

Я — истинный пастух. Истинный пастух отдаёт жизнь за овец.

“I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.

Наемник, не пастух, тот, кому овцы — чужие, при виде волка бросает стадо и бежит, позволив волку хватать овец и разгонять стадо,

“He who is a hired hand, and not a shepherd, who is not the owner of the sheep, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf snatches them and scatters them.

потому что он — только наемник и до овец ему нет дела.

“He flees because he is a hired hand and is not concerned about the sheep.

Я — истинный пастух и потому знаю своих, а они — Меня,

“I am the good shepherd, and I know My own and My own know Me,

как Отец знает Меня, а Я — Его, и Я отдаю жизнь за овец.

even as the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep.

Есть у Меня и другие — овцы не из этой овчарни. Я должен привести и их, и они будут слушать Мой голос, так что будет одно стадо, один пастух.

“I have other sheep, which are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will hear My voice; and they will become one flock with one shepherd.

Отец и любит Меня за то, что Я отдаю жизнь — и Я получу её снова.

“For this reason the Father loves Me, because I lay down My life so that I may take it again.

Никто не отнимает её у Меня, Я отдаю её Сам: в Моей власти её отдать и в Моей власти взять Себе её снова. Это повеление Я получил от Моего Отца.

“No one has taken it away from Me, but I lay it down on My own initiative. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This commandment I received from My Father.”

Эти слова опять разделили евреев.

A division occurred again among the Jews because of these words.

Многие говорили: «В Нём демон и Его речи безумны. Что вы Его слушаете?»

Many of them were saying, “He has a demon and is insane. Why do you listen to Him?”

Другие возражали: «Это — не слова одержимого. Разве может демон открывать глаза слепым?»

Others were saying, “These are not the sayings of one demon-possessed. A demon cannot open the eyes of the blind, can he?”

В то время в Иерусалиме праздновалось Обновление Храма. Была зима;

At that time the Feast of the Dedication took place at Jerusalem;

Иисус бродил по Храму, в Соломоновой галерее.

it was winter, and Jesus was walking in the temple in the portico of Solomon.

Евреи обступили Его и спросили: — Долго ли Ты будешь держать нас в неведении? Скажи нам прямо, Ты — Помазанник?

The Jews then gathered around Him, and were saying to Him, “How long will You keep us in suspense? If You are the Christ, tell us plainly.”

Иисус ответил: — Я вам уже сказал, а вы не верите. Обо Мне свидетельствуют дела, которые Я совершаю именем Отца,

Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe; the works that I do in My Father’s name, these testify of Me.

однако вы не верите, ибо вы — не из числа Моих овец.

“But you do not believe because you are not of My sheep.

Мои овцы слушают Мой голос, Я знаю их и они идут за Мной.

“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me;

Я даю им вечную жизнь и они не погибнут. Никто их у Меня не отнимет.

and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.

Мой Отец — больше всех, и то, что Он дал Мне, никто не сможет у Него отнять.

“My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.

Я и Отец — одно.

“I and the Father are one.”

Евреи снова схватили камни, чтобы бросить в Него,

The Jews picked up stones again to stone Him.

но Иисус их спросил: — Много добрых дел, исходящих от Отца, Я показал вам. За какое из них вы собираетесь побить Меня камнями?

Jesus answered them, “I showed you many good works from the Father; for which of them are you stoning Me?”

Евреи ответили: — Не за доброе дело мы хотим Тебя побить, а за богохульство — за то, что Ты, будучи человеком, объявляешь себя Богом.

The Jews answered Him, “For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy; and because You, being a man, make Yourself out to be God.”

Иисус возразил: — Не написано ли в вашем Законе: «Я сказал: вы — боги»?

Jesus answered them, “Has it not been written in your Law, ‘I SAID, YOU ARE GODS’?

Итак, Бог назвал богами тех, к кому Он обращается в своем слове — и неоспоримо Писание!

“If he called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken),

Почему же Того, Кого Отец себе отделил и послал в мир, вы обвиняете в богохульстве только за то, что сказал Он: «Я — Сын Божий»?

do you say of Him, whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’?

Если Мои дела не от Отца исходят, не верьте Мне,

“If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me;

а если — от Отца, то раз вы Мне не верите, верьте делам — и вы поймете и будете знать, что Отец — во Мне, как и Я — в Отце.

but if I do them, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, so that you may know and understand that the Father is in Me, and I in the Father.”

Они опять попытались Его схватить, но Он ушел от них.

Therefore they were seeking again to seize Him, and He eluded their grasp.

И Он снова ушел за Иордан, где прежде омывал Иоанн.

And He went away again beyond the Jordan to the place where John was first baptizing, and He was staying there.

К Нему приходило множество людей, говоривших: «Иоанн не сотворил ни одного знака, но всё, что он сказал об Иисусе, правда».

Many came to Him and were saying, “While John performed no sign, yet everything John said about this man was true.”

И многие в Него поверили.

Many believed in Him there.
