What advantage then has the Jew, or what is the profit of circumcision?
 
Что убо лишшее иудею? или кая польза обрезания?

Much in every way! Chiefly because to them were committed the [a]oracles of God.
 
Много, по всякому образу: первее бо, яко вверена быша им словеса Божия.

For what if some did not believe? Will their unbelief make the faithfulness of God without effect?
 
Что бо, аще не вероваша нецыи? еда (убо) неверствие их веру Божию упразднит?

Certainly not! Indeed, let God be [b]true but every man a liar. As it is written: “That You may be justified in Your words, And may overcome when You are judged.”
 
Да не будет: да будет же Бог истинен, всяк же человек ложь, якоже есть писано: яко да оправдишися во словесех твоих, и победиши, внегда судити ти.

But if our unrighteousness demonstrates the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unjust who inflicts wrath? (I speak as a man.)
 
Аще ли неправда наша Божию правду составляет, что речем? еда ли неправеден Бог наносяй гнев? по человеку глаголю.

Certainly not! For then how will God judge the world?
 
Да не будет: понеже како судити имать Бог миру?

For if the truth of God has increased through my lie to His glory, why am I also still judged as a sinner?
 
Аще бо истина Божия в моей лжи избыточествова в славу его, что еще и аз яко грешник осуждаюся,

And why not say, “Let us do evil that good may come”? — as we are slanderously reported and as some affirm that we say. Their [c]condemnation is just.
 
И не якоже хулимся, и якоже глаголют нецыи нас глаголати, яко сотворим злая, да приидут благая: ихже суд праведен есть.

What then? Are we better than they? Not at all. For we have previously charged both Jews and Greeks that they are all under sin.
 
Что убо, преимеем ли? Никакоже: предукорихом бо иудеи же и еллины вся под грехом быти,

As it is written: “There is none righteous, no, not one;
 
якоже есть писано. Яко несть праведен никтоже:

There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God.
 
несть разумеваяи, и несть взыскаяй Бога:

They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one.”
 
вси уклонишася, вкупе непотребни быша. несть творяй благостыню, несть даже до единаго.

“Their throat is an open [d]tomb; With their tongues they have practiced deceit”; “The poison of asps is under their lips”;
 
Гроб отверст гортань их, языки своими льщаху. Яд аспидов под устнами их.

“Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.”
 
ихже уста клятвы и горести полна суть.

“Their feet are swift to shed blood;
 
Скоры ноги их пролияти кровь:

Destruction and misery are in their ways;
 
сокрушение и озлобление на путех их,

And the way of peace they have not known.”
 
и пути мирнаго не познаша.

“There is no fear of God before their eyes.”
 
Несть страха Божия пред очима их.

Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become [e]guilty before God.
 
Вемы же, яко елика закон глаголет, сущым в законе глаголет: да всяка уста заградятся, и повинен будет весь мир Богови:

Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
 
зане от дел закона не оправдится всяка плоть пред ним: законом бо познание греха.

But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets,
 
Ныне же кроме закона правда Божия явися, свидетельствуема от закона и пророк.

even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all [f]and on all who believe. For there is no difference;
 
Правда же Божия верою Иисус Христовою во всех и на всех верующих: несть бо разнствия,

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
 
вси бо согрешиша, и лишени суть славы Божия,

being justified [g]freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,
 
оправдаеми туне благодатию его, избавлением, еже о Христе Иисусе,

whom God set forth as a [h]propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed,
 
егоже предположи Бог очищение верою в крови его, в явление правды своея, за отпущение прежде бывших грехов,

to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
 
в долготерпении Божии, и в показание правды его в нынешнее время, во еже быти ему праведну и оправдающу сущаго от веры Иисусовы.

Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith.
 
Где убо похвала, отгнася. Которым законом? делы ли? Ни, но законом веры.

Therefore we conclude that a man is [i]justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law.
 
Мыслим убо верою оправдатися человеку, без дел закона.

Or is He the God of the Jews only? Is He not also the God of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also,
 
Или иудеев Бог токмо, а не и языков? Ей, и языков:

since there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith.
 
понеже един Бог, иже оправдит обрезание от веры и необрезание верою.

Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law.
 
Закон ли убо разоряем верою? Да не будет: но закон утверждаем.
